Platform offers working capital with approval within 48 hours
Created by Agência de Desenvolvimento Paulista (Desenvolve SP) to reduce the bureaucracy of small companies' access to working capital financing and encourage economic activity in the State, the Digital Credit platform has just reached the sum of R$ 40 million in loans for 400 companies. The system, unique in the country, uses the E-CNPJ digital certification to electronically authenticate the operation and integrate the consultation with several databases, approving funding requests within 48 hours.
With an average ticket of R$ 100 thousand per operation, companies in the interior of São Paulo demanded most of the resources: 54%. In the sectorial division, Commerce was the main borrower, representing 53% of the amount. Then comes Industry and Services with 31% and 16%, respectively. “Digital Credit was an innovative solution that gave small businesses a boost to keep their doors open, replenish inventories and pay suppliers during the crisis, a period in which retail banks tend to restrict credit”, says Alvaro Sedlacek, president of Desenvolvimento SP .
How it works
Digital Credit serves companies with annual revenues between R$ 360 thousand and R$ 16 million to finance the replenishment of inventories, purchase of inputs and raw materials necessary for day-to-day business activities. The financing interest rate starts at 1,20% per month, with a payment term of up to 36 months, including up to a three-month grace period. The maximum amount of funding is R$ 200 thousand per transaction.
When using the platform, entrepreneurs receive an online simulation of the financing, with value, term, charges and monthly installments. The approval of the funding takes place within 48 hours, counted from the registration of the proposal. After the agreement with the negotiation, the contract is generated and made available in the system.
