The evolution of the cooperative also occurs in the management of processes through the use of technology. One of the recently completed initiatives in this area was the acquisition of “Gestão Empresarial”, an ERP solution from Senior. Coopermil already had a relationship with the company through HCM, software for HR – people management, and chose to replace the ERP used until then by the Senior solution.
In addition to employees, 15,000 customers and 5,000 associates will also be directly or indirectly impacted by the technology. Among the cooperative's expectations, according to administrative supervisor Jaime Stochero, are the reduction of operating costs and the effective management of information.
“We were using another ERP solution that was not meeting our expectations. And this situation created difficulties for decision-making. In view of the work developed by Senior in the HR software, we chose to replace the ERP software with the company's portfolio”, says Coopermil's manager.
Completed in early September, the project also strengthens the relationship with Senior in other services, such as the expansion of the HR solutions that will be used and the integration with the retail segment, one of the businesses in Coopermil's portfolio of activities.
