Public consultation debates software contracting

Interested parties can contribute until October 21

Those interested in contributing new guidelines for hiring companies that provide software development services must submit their contributions by October 21st. THEpublic consultation was opened today (23) on the Social Participation Portal (Participa.br) by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management (MP). The new document will be used by more than 220 bodies of the Information Technology Resource Management System (SISP).
 

“We want to build better guidelines for contracting software measurement services using Function Point Analysis”, explained the Secretary of Information Technology of the MP, Marcelo Pagotti. According to the secretary, the elaboration of a document with the participation of managers, academia and businessmen only brings gains for public management. “The day to day of federal government servers and suppliers will be simplified, as they are the ones who will use the guidelines”, added Pagotti.
 
Sisp is the structure used by the federal government for the organization of work, control, supervision and coordination of the ICT area in direct, autarchic and foundational administration.
