According to the creator of Connected Smart Cities and executive director of Sator, Paula Faria, the 2019 edition will have the participation of more municipalities and will have a more innovative and dynamic format, through the use of new technologies, such as experiences in virtual reality. .

“We will have a lot of news in this edition of Connected Smart Cities, where we can highlight the more structured work focused on startups in the sector, through the partnership with 100 Open Startups. In 2019, the event will be revamped in terms of scenography, with new technologies that will make the initiative more innovative, such as virtual reality, for example. In the last edition, we had the physical participation of the municipalities of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Vitória and Barueri and, in this edition, we will count on the presence, in the space of the event, of more municipalities that have been developing the concept of smart cities, in addition to other representatives of municipalities interested in the topic and in implementing the concept in their cities. Our expectation is to keep all the records conquered at the event in 2018 and also include the new actions that we have prepared for the current edition”, he said.

He concludes: “The Connected Smart Cities has been bringing together different segments of society since 2015 to present and debate actions focused on the development of Brazilian cities. And the practical results of the work we have been carrying out can now be followed in the initiatives of several cities in the country”, comments Paula Faria.
