Baita Accelerator, GFT and Oxygen are open for registration

 
 

Big Accelerator
 
The daughter company of Unicamp Baita Acceleradora has an open call, until the next day March, 27 th, for startups interested in its acceleration program. The program is aimed at technology-based startups in areas such as: IT, Telecom, IoT, Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Fintech, Health, Life Sciences, among others.
 
Lasting from 6 to 12 months – according to the startup’s profile -, the acceleration program provides for collaborative activities (peer group), training, mentoring, contact with the market, specialists and investors, in addition to direct monitoring of the partners. da Baita, who help the startup in all aspects – both market and technology.
 
The program will be carried out at Baita's new headquarters, located close to UNICAMP and PUCC's campus I, in Campinas, where the IoT experimentation laboratory is also installed, in addition to being close to other partner laboratories and research centers, allowing constant contact with experts and access to services in the most diverse areas. Oxygen
 
Startups across the country will have up to April 24th to register to participate in the 2nd Cycle of Acceleration of Oxygen Accelerator. The objective is to promote interaction between the community of entrepreneurs and the markets where these startups operate. In the first phase, which began in September last year, 1,000 projects were registered to participate in the program.
 
“Our objective is to stimulate entrepreneurship, offering support so that selected startups can improve their solutions in order to obtain growth and recognition in the market”, says Italo Flammia, director of Oxigênio Acceleradora. Each of the selected companies will receive an investment of US$ 50 thousand to develop their business, in addition to R$100 thousand in smart money, applied in indirect investments, in the form of benefits and resources for entrepreneurs.
 
Oxigênio's acceleration program will begin in July, at the company's headquarters located in the Campos Elíseos neighborhood of São Paulo, for a period of six months. During the first three months of acceleration, the entrepreneurs of the selected companies will undergo mentoring sessions, lectures and workshops encompassing various specialties with Porto Seguro executives and renowned professionals in the market. After this period, startups will be able to complete the acceleration process at the headquarters of the Plug and Play Tech Center, an accelerator located in Silicon Valley in the United States.
 
Registration is open on the website  www.oxigenioacceleradora.com.br to startups from all over the country, which already have an MVP, that is, a constituted product and/or prototype, and are in an intermediate stage of development.
 
GFT
 
The fifth edition of the international competition GFT CODE_n will address the theme "Unraveling Digital Disruption'. Digital pioneers have up to may 31st to apply. Finalists will compete for the GFT CODE_n Award and a prize worth €30,000 on one of four core themes: Applied FinTechs, Connected Mobility, HealthTech and Photonics 4.0.
 
A jury of experts will select the 50 finalist startups that will present their cutting-edge business models at the new.New Festival, at the Center for Art and Media (ZKM – Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie), located in Karlsruhe, Germany. The event takes place from September 20 to 22, 2016 and will be open to the public, which represents an ideal opportunity to generate publicity and build business networks.
 
Startups interested in participating in the contest can apply on the website connect.code-n.org/, as long as they were founded until 2011. The 50 finalists, in addition to having space to show their business, will be able to participate in conferences, pitch sessions and workshops, which will be organized by GFT Technologies SE, initiator of GFT CODE_n, and its partners : Accenture, Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and TRUMPF. One of the goals of the New Festival is to give startups an opportunity to win over the jury with their visionary ideas and innovative sustainable business models.
