Company wants to expand revenue and its performance in Cloud Computing
Compusoftware Solutions & Reseller announced the acquisition of Infoshot − a company based in Minas Gerais that operates in offering Microsoft solutions to the market. With the purchase, Compusoftware, which serves 15% of the 500 largest companies in the country, plans to strengthen its operations in Cloud Computing by offering a complete portfolio of services. Revenue forecast is R$ 250 million in fiscal year 2014/2015, with 15% of the amount coming from the new negotiation.
Infoshot was created in 2004, in Belo Horizonte, and provides technological integration and consulting services for Microsoft solutions throughout Brazil, mainly for the Cloud, Azure and Office 365 platforms. With a growth of 400% per year, the company from Minas Gerais has 40 consultants specializing in Cloud and dozens of medium and large customers.
The new acquisition supports Compusoftware's strategy of increasingly positioning itself as a complete Information Technology (IT) consultancy, focusing on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, as well as on complex implementation projects or migration to Cloud Computing. “Today, it is essential to offer customers, in addition to the licensing offer, a comprehensive range of services and consultancy. With Infoshot's expertise, Compusoftware becomes an even more specialized company, guaranteeing the best solution for each IT environment”, emphasizes Cristina Boner, Chairman of the Board of Globalweb Corp, the holding company of which Compusoftware is part.
Positioned among the five largest Microsoft resellers in Brazil, Compusoftware has invested, in recent years, in the diversification of sales tools and in contact with the customer to meet the growing demands of the market. In addition to investing in opening channels and training its representatives, the company has expanded its presence throughout the country, especially in the Southeast, a market with a large concentration of companies.
