Compusoftware, a Brazilian software licensing company, announced the acquisition of itBrain, a company that provides services in Information Technology (IT). With the purchase, Compusoftware, which serves 70% of the 500 largest companies in the country, will add 100 new customers to its portfolio of active contracts. The revenue forecast is R$ 160 million in 2013, with more than 10% of this amount resulting from the negotiation.

In addition to licensing software from the world's largest manufacturers, such as Microsoft, Adobe, CA, Symantec and Autodesk, Compusoftware now offers consulting, installation and support services for Microsoft solutions. “The decision is in line with market trends, in which it has become essential to offer customers, in addition to the licensing offer, a complete line of services”, explains Adriano Vieira, CEO of Compusoftware.

“If we have already guaranteed the best licensing options on the market, now we have a complete offer, with an initial focus on large industrial and retail companies in the States of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and the Federal District”, he says.

The acquisition of itBrain is part of Compusoftware's strategy to increasingly position itself as a complete Information Technology consultant in the Brazilian corporate market. “We will use the expertise of both companies to offer IT intelligence services. Our focus is to ensure that customers reach excellent levels of technological maturity and work with solutions that are always appropriate and up-to-date”, explains Adhemar Silva, the company's Director of Services.
