Companies from all groups can now send Worker Safety and Health (OSH) events to the eSocial test environment. Information on OSH makes up the fifth and final stage of the federal government's project. According to the published schedule, this phase will start in July 2019 for companies that earned more than R$ 78 million in 2016.

According to the planning manager of LG Lugar de Gente, a leading technology company for HR management, Sáttila Silva, it is important that organizations participate in the submission tests of OSH events. “As in the other stages of eSocial implementation, this is the moment the company will have to verify if it has made all the necessary adjustments in its processes, if its management system is adherent and even to identify needs for adjustments in the layouts established by the government”, he explains.

The OSH events comprise the work environment table, the Work Accident Communication (CAT), the monitoring of the worker's health, the toxicological examination of the professional driver, the environmental conditions of work - risk factors, training, qualifications, simulated exercises, among others.

Also according to Sáttila, many businesses use parallel controls or hire third parties to record OSH information, and in order for them to participate in the tests, they must meet certain requirements. “Companies need to have already computerized their processes, negotiated the form and terms of service with their partners and need to have a message to manage the transmission of information to the government”, he quotes. LG's manager Lugar de Gente points out that, during the verification stage, companies must pay attention to the returns of validations made by eSocial and whether the information is consistent with their reality and adheres to social security and labor legislation.
