Camila Naccarato Alves reinforces the CLM security team, focusing on Thales
To provide faster and more effective responses to the significant increase in demand for solutions that respond with high accuracy and agile adequacy to the requirements imposed by the entry into force of LGPD - General Data Protection Law, a CLM, a Latin American value-added distributor, strengthened its portfolio and started to distribute the company's cybersecurity technologies Thales, a French technology giant that produces everything from satellites to smartcards.
"THE Thales advanced solutions for anonymization, pseudonymization and cryptography, allowing companies to quickly adapt to the security required for LGPD, ”explains CLM's product director, Gabriel Camargo.

Camilla Naccarato Alves
To explore the full potential of Thales solutions, the company brought its team Camilla Naccarato Alves, experienced product manager. Camargo explains that the demand for information security solutions, which was already high, grew a lot with the crisis of the new Coronavirus. “We saw the need to reinforce the team with an experienced intrapreneur, who could give vent to these cybersecurity and LGPD fronts,” says the director.
“My role at CLM is to reach the full potential of these products, increasing its participation in the Brazilian market. We will focus on the capillarity of the channels, exploring what they do best and categorizing them by region. The objective is to cover the manufacturer's existing operating gap and be closer to business partners. In this way, we can develop strategic partners according to the objectives of each manufacturer, supporting them not only in generating demand, but mainly in training, through the CLM University and generating content aimed at the channel's performance, ”says Camilla.
Also according to the manager, the emphasis, at the moment, is to help resellers and their customers to technically adapt to the General Data Protection Law. "For this we analyze the main solutions for data protection, encryption, anonymization, identification and monitoring of access to sensitive information for customers and visitors," he points out.
“We have to change the culture of Brazilian companies, guiding not only users, but building a 'new culture' of security for the current reality, with relevant and strong technologies in the market. CLM's role is to help bring this new culture to all organizations by helping our partners to redefine their offerings to better serve their customers, ”says CLM's new product manager.
Pandemia makes demands explode, at CLM
Director Gabriel Camargo says that CLM is experiencing rapid growth, with a significant increase in demand for remote access, encryption and advanced infrastructure solutions, largely supplied by Nutanix, Arista and A10. “With the growth of telecommuting came concerns about secure access, auditing and protection against advanced attacks, which led to the demand for solutions from manufacturers like SentinelOne (EPP / EDR based on Artificial Intelligence), AppGate (Software Defined Perimeter), Varonis (audit and classification of semi-structured data) and Cyberark (management of permissions and privileges) had a significant leap, ”concludes the director.
