Families who enjoy the Playcenter attractions do not realize that, behind all the toys' machinery, there is intense IT work that keeps the park running smoothly to avoid unexpected surprises. Currently, with a head office in São Paulo, nine physical stores and an indoor park, the company relied on Brasoftware to migrate its local servers to Microsoft Azure solutions and implement Office 365.

"Office 365 was responsible for reducing around 30% the number of calls about messaging services, password change and user creation, in addition to unifying all domains on a single platform, generating scalability in license management. this project, we were able to consume the exact amount of licenses we need, without excess software assets, since we pay for what is actually used within our company", says André Lira, IT manager at Playcenter.

"Through Microsoft productivity solutions, employees can work from any device, from anywhere and at any time, in a safe, collaborative and effective way. In addition, Office 365 has brought much more effective management to Playcenter, ensuring that the contracted services are really taken advantage of and used in their entirety", says Bruno Testoni, Brasoftware Solutions manager.

Another project carried out at Playcenter involves the migration to the Azure cloud of two important portals for the company, the online access page for customers and the intranet page for employees. "The main objective with the use of Azure is to gain availability because we will no longer depend on the physical structure in our office, being no longer subject to normal weather. In Azure, the service is much more stable, allowing differentials for our customer, such as for example , checking the balance of your loyalty cards at any time", explains André.

A trend in the digital market, the hiring of Azure is in the IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) model. According to a Gartner study, the global public cloud services market is expected to grow 21.4% in 2018 and the fastest growing segment is IaaS services, which is expected to grow 35.9% in 2018. "In this way, Playcenter can access the storage resources through the network and also reduce costs with infrastructure maintenance, which, in this case, was outsourced", explains Bruno.

With the migration, the IT department gained more time to work on business innovation, playing a much more strategic role and 100% focused on digital transformation. "With the scalability and flexibility of the cloud, customers are now able to provision their internal projects quickly through Microsoft Azure, with predictable costs paid monthly", adds Brasoftware's Solutions Manager.
