The DPM (Digital Performance Management) solution has improved the optimization of infrastructure resources used in the organization

Dynatrace, a global software intelligence company, has improved the availability of CNseg (National Confederation of General Insurance, Private Pension and Life, Supplementary Health and Capitalization) solutions through its Software Intelligence platform, which provides answers in real-time to application performance, interconnected services, hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructure, and user experience.

According to Luis Freitas, IT Manager at CNseg, the tool makes it possible to identify points of improvement in the management of applications, making it possible to fix code and infrastructure that increased the availability of CNseg solutions. “The application infrastructure is dynamic and its complexity requires monitoring that allows greater assertiveness in the diagnosis of problems, which has improved with the implementation of Dynatrace's DPM solution”, he explains.

Digital performance management provides a single view of the entire business transaction, from the beginning of the navigation to the completion of the order or any other point that the user decides to stop. In an increasingly digital world, companies are looking for different ways to improve visibility in each of the layers that involve the application. However, most of the time, IT teams do not realize the correlation between the elements and the business because they are only focused on the technology components in an isolated way.

“Business models have changed and companies have come to depend on applications for almost all processes. This digital transformation is not simple and requires massive changes in the way we operate the business and IT. Today, with the support of Artificial Intelligence, we learn automatically how applications work by detecting changes and anomalies in everyday life, in addition to mapping in real time metrics that are able to show if the business is working as it should from the application and the customer/user experience”, explains Fernando Mellone, Senior Territory Manager at Dynatrace and responsible for customer service at CNseg.

According to CNseg's IT Manager, the tool's high point is to signal application behavior trends that can lead to failures. “Before, the infrastructure team worked reactively to problems. Today it is possible to anticipate, mitigating the occurrence of service interruptions”, says Freitas.
