With 256 companies, ACATE's Business Verticals celebrate 10-year milestone

The strategic program was created with the aim of bringing together technology entrepreneurs who work in the same areas to foster debate and innovation in the sector.

On October 24, an event was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Vertical Business, a strategic program of the Santa Catarina Technology Association (ACATE) aimed at promoting innovation in the sectors of the economy in which the member companies operate. The program currently has 256 member companies and 59 partner institutions. In 2019, 1337 people were impacted by events held so far. The celebration had a dynamic among the participants and many moments of networking, always focused on integration and business generation.

The program also announced the results of the Vertical Awards, which awarded an award to the verticals that stood out in several categories in the program's actions over the 10 years, as well as some "honorable mentions" to some vertical directors and participating companies. . The main highlights of the award were the Vertical Retail, Security and Energy, winners in two categories each, and Vertical Manufatura, with three awards won in the last year.

“The Verticals marked the beginning of a major transformation in ACATE's history. We want to congratulate the entrepreneurs who were involved in the more than 919 meetings held in these 10 years of Verticals, totaling 1900 hours. This delivery of entrepreneurs is fundamental to build what we have today. Verticals are the true essence of ACATE, because they bring people together, and together we do much more business, movement and the difference that our country needs”, says Daniel Leipnitz, president of ACATE.

The award has 13 categories, in honor of the number of verticals that make up the program. Check the results:

2 – Highest number of meetings held in 10 years: With 111 meetings, Vertical Energia
3 – Largest number of business generated in the group in 2018: Vertical Manufatura
4 – Largest number of internal projects in 2019: Vertical Varejo
5 – Innovative internal project with greater impact: With the Living Lab project, Vertical Connectivity & Cloud
6 – Greater number of meetings held outside the CIA Primavera: Vertical Security
7 – Largest number of events and people impacted in 2019: With 9 events and 350 people impacted, Vertical Educação
8 – Highest number of participation in external events in 2019: With 4 events, Vertical Saúde
9 – Most innovative event of the year: Immersion 4.0, Vertical Manufacture
10 – Historic event: With the 9th edition of the Energy Show, Vertical Energia
11 – Director most engaged in projects for the ecosystem: Arthur Nunes, Vertical Economy Creative
12 – Director most present in meetings of leaders: Túlio Duarte, Vertical Manufatura
