The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/MCTI) launched a new public call for the Rhae Researcher in the Company Program, with resources estimated at R$ 60 million.

 
The objective of the Rhae Program is to select proposals for financial support for projects that aim to significantly contribute to scientific and technological development and innovation in the country, through the insertion of masters or doctors in private, micro, small, medium and large companies. sizes, with the use of CNPq technological development grants. 
 
This year, two funding and duration ranges were defined for the proposals: one for initial projects, with a duration of 24 months and with a maximum value of R$ 150,000 per initiative, and one for ongoing projects, with a duration of 36 months and up to R$ 400,000 per initiative.
 
Rhae, created in 1987, has been developed through public notices since 2007. This is the first edition open to large companies, whose participation may correspond, at most, to 20% of resources. click here to watch the CNPQ video about the Rhae Program.
 
As in previous years, there will be three rounds for submission of proposals, and the deadline for submission for the first round is December 20th. The disclosure of results and the start of contracting the approved proposals will take place from March 2014.  Access the call here.
