CNH Industrial and Microsoft are with a new digital transformation project to empower Case IH, New Holland Agriculture and IVECO customers with enhanced technology services. The data collected by the connected vehicles will be used to streamline and facilitate business operations and enable new revenue streams, thanks to the introduction of innovative digital services, managed by the Microsoft Azure cloud and its intelligent systems.

With this project, the expectation is that the next generation of agricultural machines will be developed and equipped with new connectivity technologies to provide users with a range of value-added services that utilize the extensive dataset collected during field operations. The platform will become key in the digitization process of CNH Industrial's global agricultural brands, contributing to the development of advanced connected services and enabling the seamless transfer of equipment data through cloud technologies based on Microsoft Azure.

Commercial vehicles can utilize innovative telematics technology, which offers new features and capabilities for fleet managers and end customers. Customers will be able to monitor numerous parameters, from internal mechanics to driving style assessments, benefiting from proactive maintenance and therefore increasing total vehicle uptime. Among the benefits for fleet managers are fuel consumption and sharing this data with partners and suppliers.

By partnering with Microsoft, CNH Industrial can offer customers a set of powerful tools that enable them to use Big Data to improve their operations. This project is part of the company's overall service delivery platform, which also encompasses Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, artificial intelligence, analytics, and business intelligence, which are other elements of the Microsoft ecosystem.

In addition, CNH Industrial will benefit from Microsoft's Enterprise Services division for the overall implementation of the service delivery platform, leveraging its expertise in carrying out complex digital transformation programs, from strategy to delivery.
