Clínica São Marcos invests in the use of solutions to improve its offer in imaging exams

Pixeon's PACS will increase productivity and reduce costs for the institution

 
In the imaging exam market since 1971, Clínica São Marcos | Digital Image now relies on Pixeon's PACS, a communication and image archiving system, to modernize all its day-to-day processes.

With four units in Santa Catarina, the imaging clinic aims, using the Pixeon solution, to improve management and reduce the institution's costs, in addition to increasing the productivity of professionals and improving patient care.
 
Among the main immediate improvements are: the reduction of expenses with paper and film printing of exams using Pixeon's PACS - of the 10 thousand exams performed monthly, 3 thousand are not removed -, as the printing will only be carried out on demand in the withdrawal examination by the patient in the clinic.
 
Another benefit is the radiological center by voice recognition, which should increase the productivity of professionals when issuing the analysis of exams, with a direct impact on the time of delivery of the result to the patient - and can be reduced by up to 60%.
