Citrix held at the WTC Sheraton, in São Paulo (SP) the Brazilian edition of the Future of Work Tour, which presents a current panorama of the labor market and highlights solutions to increase employee engagement through the experience, security and choice pillars, a great challenge when the factors that harm the world economy are presented.

The director-general of Citrix Brasil, Luís Banhara, showed data that reinforce that the future of work depends directly on the employees' experience:

• According to a study carried out by the Gallup Institute, 85% of workers around the world are not engaged in their duties;

• In 2020, the figure is expected to rise to 95%;

• This disengagement generates a loss of US$ 7 trillion for the world economy;

“With engagement directly linked to employee satisfaction, technology will be essential for the facilitating role it currently plays in organizations. Making access to data and applications simpler and more intelligent will increase engagement and, consequently, productivity”, highlighted Banhara.

During the presentation of Citrix solutions, the director highlighted the innovation of the so-called microapps: when applications (especially SaaS) are transformed into features, which optimizes employee time by eliminating logins, drastically reducing the time to change an application to another and highlight the most accessed functions.

This innovation is supported by a roadmap based on three steps: organize, teach and automate, which corroborates the trend presented in The Economist survey carried out by Citrix, that the integration between the HR and IT departments is of paramount importance in this process - something that most organizations and executives in Brazil (40%) are already putting into practice.
