Companies are joining forces to simplify transformation in the cloud and accelerate the adoption of digital workspace and virtual desktops with more agility, productivity and security

The global pandemic has caused employees and companies to rethink how and where the work is done. More organizations will consolidate remote work as part of their cost and workforce management strategies. And, to drive business continuity and growth in this scenario, organizations will need to adopt more flexible work models that accommodate these new priorities.

Therefore, Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) and Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) are joining forces to imagine this new flexible workplace in a new perspective. Employees need a consistent experience and continuous access to vital applications and insights to do the best job in any location. To address this challenge, technology leaders are announcing a partnership to help organizations accelerate migration to the cloud, the adoption of digital workspaces and virtual desktops.

The agreement builds on and expands one of the longest strategic partnerships in the industry. Under the terms of the agreement, Microsoft will select Citrix® Workspace as the chosen digital workspace solution and Citrix will select Microsoft Azure as the right cloud platform to move existing local Citrix customers to Microsoft Azure and allow people work anywhere using devices.

Companies will also create a connected roadmap to enable a flexible, consistent and optimal work experience that will include joint offerings comprised of Citrix Workspace, Citrix SD-WAN, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 sold by their direct sales forces on the Azure Marketplace and a robust community of channel partners.
