Cisco and TCS team up to develop digital transformation accelerator solutions

Tata Consultancy Services' New Cisco DNA Center of Excellence will create network-optimized solutions that reduce risk and improve customer experience

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a reference company in business solutions, consulting and IT services, celebrated a new milestone in its long partnership with Cisco, creating a Center of Excellence (CoE) to develop solutions that exploit the DNA- C by Cisco.

The new CoE will be used to create future-proof network transformation solutions, as well as to optimize the performance of industry-specific solutions that TCS has been developing for its customers by leveraging its domain expertise, contextual knowledge, and Business 4.0™ thinking, smart, agile, automated and in the cloud. One of the challenges companies face today is the deterioration of the operational performance of business-critical digital applications at times of peak workload on networks with static controls. The CoE will develop applications that use the power of software-defined networks to dynamically manage them, reduce response times and thus provide an excellent customer experience.

TCS experts working on the CoE developed a solution called Enterprise Compliance Enforcement – Network that leverages Cisco platform capabilities to create network microsegments and isolate critical assets, helping administrators adhere to various industry-specific compliance policies. The custom, template-based application facilitates auditing and compliance processes and reduces risk for businesses.
