Promoting the exchange of experiences and best practices among associates is one of ABES' objectives, which has been materialized in the meetings of committees and working groups, with the presence of special guests related to the topics dealt with in each group. 

Therefore, at the Data Protection Working Group (WG) meeting, held on October 15, 2019, ABES was attended by Ana Paula Bialer and Marcia Muniz, from our associate Cisco, who shared how the adequacy and implementation of LGPD in the company. They detailed the steps of the work that began with the mapping of the processes of collection, use and treatment of data, the analysis of gaps and the structuring of the program to implement measures to adapt to the LGPD, among other steps.

“The presentation by the Cisco team received much praise from the WG participants and this exchange of experiences has shown the importance of cooperation between companies in the ICT sector for Brazil to advance in the protection of personal data”, highlighted Daniella Caverni, who coordinates the GT together with Francisco Spony. Carolina Marzano, advisor to the committees, and Thomaz Côrte Real, legal advisor to ABES, were also present at the meeting.
