The modern and sustainable production units of the Cearense group are capable of producing more than two million tons of cement per year

Cimento Apodi, a multinational joint venture that unites the Dias Branco family and the Greek group Titan, a world giant in the cement industry, increased productivity by 25% by optimizing its internal audit processes and corporate, operational, financial and compliance through the implementation of the SoftExpert Suite solution.

With a strong presence in the North and Northeast, the company was looking for an integrated management tool that would bring reliability and agility to the processes. Cimento Apodi's Internal Audit coordinator, Brena Rebouças, says that the company chose the SoftExpert Suite tool because it perfectly suits the group's business strategies. “The solution has a single interface interconnected between the internal audit, risk management and internal controls modules and this point was crucial for the choice”, he comments.

Currently, all the company's leaders have access to the platform, being able to follow the action plans and mapped risks in real time. As a result, senior management gained agility in decision-making, being able to focus on increasingly strategic activities.

“The platform has changed the way we work, we are now able to manage the treatment of corporate risks, formalize the internal audit work and follow up on improvement plans throughout the organization, maintaining the reliability and transparency of the processes. All this resulted in an increase in productivity by approximately 25% and we believe that there is potential for even more expressive results in the coming years,” highlights Brena.

The expectation now, according to the coordinator, is that the tool, which was quickly incorporated into the organization's culture due to its easy and intuitive access, will be disseminated throughout the group.
