On February 19 and 20, those interested in knowing the fundamentals of implementing and managing technology-based business incubators can attend the course organized by Cietec (Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology). The workshop lasts eight hours and will be held at the ABCP Auditorium, within the USP Innovation Agency, a partner in the event.

The modules will be delivered by accredited consultants from CERNE (Reference Center for Support to New Enterprises), a methodology for improving results in incubators implemented by Anprotec (National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises). The speakers will be Alberto Lanari Ozolins, manager who has worked at companies such as Ericsson, Telemar, Alcatel and Nec; and Marcelo Sant'anna, business consultant and professor at the Inatel Entrepreneurship Center. Quality engineer Luiz Buda also contributed to the content.

The course is organized into four modules, two in the morning of the 19th and the following in the afternoon of the 20th. On the first day of the course, topics on administrative aspects will be discussed: financial planning and investments for the establishment of incubators; in addition to project organization: design of action plans and project management methods. The last two modules deal with incubators (companies' needs and service and support methods) and promotion (financing and support from partners for project execution).

The investment for the course is R$ 300. The website www.cietec.org.br/agenda has more information, as well as the link for registration, which can be done until February 10th.
