Migration to the SAP system brought a complete view of the financial, accounting and tax areas of the establishments, among which are Pirajá, Astor and SubAstor, Braz Pizzaria and Lanchonete da Cidade

Cia Tradicional de Comércio, a chain of bars and restaurants in the city of São Paulo, migrated its business processes to SAP Business One Cloud, with the objective of having a complete and real-time view of the backoffice processes of the company's 40 establishments which include brands such as Pirajá, Astor and SubAstor, Braz Pizzaria and Lanchonete da Cidade. The system is used in all stores and by the central office.

Patrício Arriagada, director of supplies and IT at Cia Tradicional, highlights that the migration reduced the time to close the monthly balance sheet by up to 70%, with an increase in the quality of information, which allows for an analytical view of the operation. “The migration to a cloud system facilitated the integration of processes by the stores and the administration of new ventures, which are already starting to operate in an integrated way, in addition to access to real-time information and approvals on the mobile platform. We often joke that just as important as the stove is the adoption of BusinessOne to open a new store” he adds.

At Cia Tradicional, Business One is integrated with the B1 Food solution, developed and certified with SAP by the partner Many Minds, which connects the SAP Business One backoffice with the store front, resulting in a unique and intelligent management of the business. The project reflects on the standardization of operations and the service provided to customers in the stores and also by the delivery services. The SAP partner Many Minds was responsible for the integration, starting in January 2017 and completing in six months.

“All our restaurants produce meals on site, which means that each store has to manage different production processes. Having a system that gives us control and allows us to monitor the stocks of each store, the quality of the products received and the freshness of the items for immediate consumption, gives us the guarantee that we are maintaining the quality standard for which we are recognized in the market and, at the same time, it gives us conditions to remain competitive and able to innovate in business”, explains Arrigada.

The executive of Cia Tradicional also highlights benefits in the audit processes, since the body of auditors recognizes the professionalization of balance sheets based on the SAP solution. For a network that continues to expand, this market recognition was a decisive factor in choosing SAP Business One Cloud.
