Projects will be received by December 11th for non-refundable appeal
 
The deadline for submitting projects for the public call for Finep Viver Sem Limite, aimed at projects for the social inclusion of people with disabilities, the elderly and people with reduced mobility, has been extended to December 11. The call, which has non-refundable resources from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT), in the amount of R$ 25 million, meets the guidelines of the National Plan for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – Living without Limits, under the Decree No. 7.612/2011.
 
Softsul, an ICT partner of ABES, is inviting its affiliated companies, partners and other companies involved with Assistive Technology and interested in the development of R&D&I projects within the scope of this call, to analyze and develop a proposal in partnership for FINEP . Finep Public Notice
 
The objective of the public notice is to support research, technological development and innovation projects that promote independence, autonomy, social inclusion and improved quality of life for people with disabilities, the elderly and people with reduced mobility. The call is aimed at Science and Technology Institutes (ICTs), but with the possibility of partnership with companies. Project values can range from R$ 500k to R$ 4 million.
 
Proposals for the public notice must prioritize the development of devices, equipment, resources, products, processes, strategies, practices, methods, techniques, methodologies and services within the following themes:
 
– Assistive Technology, the only one with sub-themes such as: computer accessibility resources, orthotics and prostheses, mobility aids, adaptations in vehicles and in vehicle access environments, sports and leisure, among others;
 
– Accessibility;
 
– Inclusive education, including school transport;
 
– Professional training and qualification, as well as the adequacy of jobs;
 
– Health care, in particular habilitation and rehabilitation services;
 
– Prevention of the causes of deficiencies;
 
– Tourism and culture.
