Objective is to clarify the main points of the regulation of the law

To facilitate the understanding of the contents of the Anti-Corruption Law (12.846/2013) and the Decree that regulates it (8.420/2015), the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) produced a series of explanatory infographics on the topic. There are six visual representations, which simplify the understanding of the main points of the legislation and deal with aspects such as the accountability process, calculation of the fine, leniency agreement, compliance and registration.

Produced by the Communication Department of CGU, the infographics combine short texts and images, in order to pass the information in a dynamic and clear way. For them, it is possible to view in just one image, for example, the administrative accountability process, as well as the possible deadlines and sanctions. Or even, the elements of the leniency agreement, requirements for signing it, the possible benefits acquired from it, among others.

The content can be checked in the section Corporate Accountability - Anti-Corruption Law from the CGU website, where there are also the most frequently asked questions on the subject, news and topics of the law. In force since January 2014, the Anti-Corruption Law is intended to punish companies for practices related to corruption.
