Peixoto explains that the idea of bringing in partners was aimed at expanding the program even further. “Last year we received about a thousand applications and in this edition we want to train more Brazilian students in the area of technology and innovation”. Lasting for six weeks, from January 7th to February 15th, the Summer Job will offer a scholarship of R$ 2 thousand to participants, in addition to tickets for those who choose CESAR units different from their state of residence.
Another point highlighted by the executive is that the classes given within the partners will have the CESAR standard, with mentors and professionals accompanying the entire execution of each project carried out. The Summer Job is ideal for students who seek personal improvement and experience of the job market, as participants will be involved in solving a challenge from sponsoring companies and partners of CESAR, such as Vida, Dotz, Gerdau, Epson, among others. .
“One of the great differentials is that these companies will present real market challenges for students to work. Summer Job sponsors also benefit, as the prototypes generated during the activities can be implemented and become innovative products”, explains Peixoto.
The program is aimed at students of any major, although 50% of the vacancies are intended for students in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing and Design. One of the requirements for participation is that the student attends from the 4th period and has advanced English. More information: https://summerjob.cesar.org.br/.
