During six weeks, students will have the opportunity to train professionally in one of the main innovation centers in Brazil

CESAR, an innovation center based in Recife, opened a selection process for a new group of the Summer Job Program. Classes will start on July 2nd and end on August 10th and will take place both at CESAR's headquarters in Recife and at regional offices in Sorocaba (SP), Curitiba (PR) and Manaus (AM). Applications are open until April 13.

The course objectives are to provide mature companies with an environment of rapid experimentation, and for students an opportunity to solve real problems through CESAR's innovation process. The intensive interaction between students and companies results in an important side effect: the identification of talent by the sponsoring companies. The Program is aimed at students of any course, although about 50% of the vacancies are intended for students of Computer Science, Engineering, Administration, Economics, Design and the like.

One of the requirements for participation in the Program is that the student is studying from the 4th period and has fluent English, since all classes will be taught in that language. In this edition, CESAR will create a mixed group with foreign and Brazilian students, which will favor the sharing of knowledge and experiences. The Program offers students an allowance of R$ 2 thousand, in addition to a ticket for those who choose CESAR units different from their state of residence.

“Summer Job is ideal for students who seek personal improvement and experience the job market and have an entrepreneurial spirit. During the entire Program, participants will be involved in solving a challenge from the sponsoring company". together with a highly qualified technical team", explained Eduardo Peixoto, CESAR's Chief Business Executive. sponsors that will bring different challenges in which students will have to work, as well as real market directions”, reinforced Peixoto.

The executive also highlighted that the advantages of the Program go beyond the training of students. “Summer Job sponsoring companies also benefit, as the prototypes generated during the activities can be implemented and become innovative products,” he explained.

Since 2012, CESAR has been holding editions of the Summer Job. Some of the sponsoring companies of the last editions were Fedex Express, Grupo Boticário, Gerdau, Unilever, Globo, Grupo Cornélio Brennand, FCA – Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, among others. The Program has already had the participation of students from ITA, UFPE, Insper (SP), USP (SP), PUC-Rio (RJ), UEA (AM), UFJF (MG), UPE, Catholic University of Pernambuco and UFPB, among others.
