Event discussed Blockchain applicability for public services

 

ABES, in partnership with the National School of Public Administration (ENAP), Ministry of Planning, Development and Management and Secretariat of Information and Communication Technology, promoted two closed workshops for the federal government with the themes "Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain" and " Blockchaim and IoT Security ", given by André de Castro, CEO and founder of the company Blockchain of Things, on September 19, in Brasília.  
 
The purpose of the event was to discuss the applicability of Blockchain technology to solve IOT's most critical problem, the security of its devices. According to a study by ABES, with IDC, in 2016, the expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT). in Brazil, it showed a growth of 27.8%, reaching investments of US$ 6 billion, with strong implications for data and device security.
 

Technology executive, Bitcoin and blockchain authority, André de Castro, American, of Brazilian origin, has been actively engaged in the development of Bitcoin and the underlying technology, Blockchain, since its creation in 2010.
