ABES participates in luncheon promoted by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce

With the aim of creating a common agenda for business and opportunities between Brazil and Canada in information and communication technology, the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CCBC) invited ABES and other sector entities to a luncheon with representatives of the Consulate General of Canada in São Paulo, the government of Ontario and the government of Québec.

ABES was represented at the meeting by Carlos Sacco, director of marketing and market intelligence, and by board member Vanda Scartezini. “This action makes it possible to connect relevant players in the market and promote business between the two countries, through projects in tune with our mission of stimulating the development of the ICT sector”, highlighted Carlos.

“We had a special event, which made it possible to bring together all associations together with the consulate and the Canadian chamber. This approximation will make it possible to unite work agendas and create greater opportunities for partnerships and business for all companies associated with ABES”, added Vanda.

Also present were executives from the Association of Brazilian Information Technology Companies – Regional São Paulo (Assespro –SP), Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (Brasscom), Brazilian Association of Game Development Companies (Abragames), SUCESU-RS and Dream2B.

During the event, promoted by the CCBC Technology Commission, the Connection Bureau was also presented, a platform that aims to integrate startups, companies, investors and industry associations. Follow the next news about this project on the ABES Portal.
