Activation takes place on November 22nd during São Paulo Tech Week. Participants introduce the business to investors during an elevator climb
Registration is now open for the third edition of Elevator Pitch, an activation that selects Brazilian startups for complete immersion in the Canadian innovation ecosystem. The event, promoted by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CCBC) in partnership with SP Negócios and São Paulo City Hall, will be held on November 22nd during the São Paulo Tech Week 2020 festival, in the capital of São Paulo.
About 40 companies from all over the country will be selected to participate in the competition. At the event, the entrepreneur will make the real 'elevator pitch' when climbing on top of an iconic building in the city of São Paulo and will be evaluated by Canadian investors and accelerators, as well as figures from the innovation environment in São Paulo. “Presenting the startup's project to Canadian investors or accelerators during the climb is, by itself, already special. In addition, entrepreneurs will receive mentoring during the event, which increases the possibility of success ”, says CCBC's director of institutional relations, Paulo de Castro Reis. At the close of the day, the institution promotes a fraternization.

Startups with headquarters in Brazil, from different sectors and who have already launched a version of the product or service, with a validated business model and a team dedicated entirely to the business, can participate. The registration form must be completed in English, the participant must be fluent in the language and be available to make an international trip.
The announcement of the startups selected for the final stage will be made on November 10, on the same registration site and by e-mail. The winning startup will have the opportunity to experience an immersion in the technology, validation and scalability ecosystem in Canada.
