Applications for the 2014 Brazil-Germany Innovation Award are open until August 22 through the website www.inobrasilalemanha.com.br. Created by the Department of Innovation and Technology of the Brazil-Germany Chamber (AHK-SP), the Award aims to identify and recognize innovative efforts made by Brazilian and German companies located in Brazil.
Projects will be evaluated for their degree of innovation and for aspects such as originality, impact on the company, society and the environment, as well as possible relationships with German institutions used for their development.
“The Award is an initiative that aims to increase the visibility of innovative projects developed in Brazil, encouraging the growth of competitiveness through innovation and supporting the technological and knowledge exchange between Brazil and Germany”, explains Sofhia Harbs, director of the Department of Innovation from AHK-SP.
In addition to visibility and exposure to partnership and business opportunities, the top three will receive an evaluation by Porsche Consulting, involving diagnosis and consulting. The big winner will have the right to nominate a representative for a trip to Germany, to participate in an international fair (to be defined by AHK-SP according to its area of activity).
