BSA launches campaign on risks of irregular software in companies

 

Vbroadcast on online platforms and inspired by the catchphrase “Thinking Well…” campaign developed by Agência Future Group for BSA – The Software Alliance draws attention to the risks of using irregular software by companies.

Through a light and fun approach, the campaign draws attention to a sensitive issue: irregularities in the use of software by companies. Wrapped in the catchphrase “Thinking well…”, Future Group's proposal is to deal with a dense theme, which even involves legal penalties (the use of irregular software by organizations and companies), through a daily and direct expression. Hence the choice of the expression “Pensando bem…” as the key icon of the campaign, which has been running since October 6th.

Targeting IT managers, CEOs and professionals responsible for companies' legal departments, the campaign features actors in different situations that illustrate the use of irregular software: illegal copies, cracks, installation of the same license on several machines and programs downloaded via torrent.

Started by expressions like “What if that 'savings' turns into a loss” or “Software? I download illegally via torrent”, the campaign aims to attract the target's attention to the importance of having control of the company's software park and regularizing its situation.

Within a more assertive strategy proposal and developed with the aim of reaching the target audience formed by CEOs, IT managers and professionals who are legally responsible for the companies, BSA opted for a completely online disclosure on specific platforms for these profiles, such as Google, Melt, Facebook and Linkedin.
