Contributing to an innovation and technology agenda in the Brazilian public sector has never been more important. In this context, BrazilLAB launched the GovTech Seal, an initiative that will connect 2,000 entrepreneurs from all over the country with the aim of improving public services and civic participation. The launch took place during the GovTech Conference, an event held in partnership with Startse, which brought together global players who are at the forefront of innovation and technological transformation.

The founder of BraziLAB, Letícia Piccolotto, and director Guilherme Dominguez presented in detail the Hub's GovTech Seal. “The GovTech Seal is becoming one of the most valuable shares in BrazilLAB. The idea is to expand, with this initiative, the portfolio of hub startups, bringing together even more companies that can solve Brazilian public management challenges ”, said Letícia. “Brazil has a fertile ground to expand digital innovation. "Entrepreneurs are the ones who can break down barriers in the government and benefit those who are on the edge, the citizen," he concluded.

Recently launched at DemoDay, an event that rewarded some of the main startups in the country, BrazilLAB's GovTech Seal is an independent certification granted by the hub to startups. It was created based on the team's experiences and knowledge over three years of work - in addition to the advice of consultants and external experts who have been contributing to the construction of the criteria for this process.

The advantage is that startups that receive the certificate will become part of a network with access to various connections and benefits that will support their relationship with managers and governments partnering with BrazilLAB, opening new paths for their businesses and being safe options for public services in Brazil. parents. Interested startups already have access to a registration platform - www.selo.brazillab.org.br - and, after paying a fee and applying for a form with questions about the company's performance, they will follow a complete evaluation procedure.

BrazilLAB is the only GovTech Hub that accelerates ideas and connects entrepreneurs with public authorities. Our goal is to encourage, in Brazil, a culture focused on innovation in this sector - and we do this by supporting entrepreneurs engaged in seeking solutions to the most complex challenges experienced by today's society.
