ABES supports the main event in the United States on the Brazilian digital market
BayBrazil, a non-profit organization that aims to bring Silicon Valley closer to the Brazilian market, announces the holding of the sixth edition of its annual conference, called “Brazil in the 21stst Century”, focused on discussing entrepreneurship, innovation and the role of Brazil in the global economy. The event will take place on September 21, 2017, at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, and has the institutional support of ABES.
“Since its foundation in 2010, BayBrazil has led several initiatives with the aim of encouraging technological innovation and strengthening the ecosystem formed by companies and individuals that operate in the digital market in both regions. Today, Brazil in the 21st Century is the main event on the Brazilian digital market outside the country. We must bring together more than 300 people among entrepreneurs, investors, leaders and professionals from technology companies from various regions of the United States and Brazil”, explains Margarise Correa, Founder of BayBrazil.
The 2017 conference will have keynotes and panels, which will address topics such as “Disruptive Innovation: How AI is changing our world”, “Investments in the Brazilian market” and “Future of IoT”, with a special presentation by Mario Queiroz, VP of Product Development, at Alphabet; and an exclusive conversation with Brazilian entrepreneur Mike Kireger, Co-founder and CTO of Instagram. Other guest speakers include founders, CEOs/VPs, technology industry leaders, entrepreneurs representing successful companies in Brazil and abroad.
“The event has garnered notable support from both the private sector and members of the community, the Embassy of Brazil in the USA and the Consulate General of Brazil in San Francisco”, concludes Margarise. Companies such as Banco Itaú, Uber, Facebook, AirBnB, Qualcomm, Google and Zendesk were present at previous editions of the conference.
