Purpose is to debate the importance of cyber defense and security
With the institutional support of ABES, Brasília will host between April 23 and 26, 2018 the first edition of Brazil Cyber Defense, which will be held simultaneously with the 7th Conference on Simulation and Military Technology, at the International Convention Center in Brazil.
Brazil Cyber Defense was created at the time of Brazil's economic recovery and aims to raise awareness among Brazilian society and the country's public administration about the importance of cyber defense and security, communications and electronic warfare.
According to the organization, Brazil Cyber Defense was conceived to promote debate on Defense and Security issues between the Armed Forces and Public Security, industry sectors, public and private institutions, the Brazilian government, startups, academic sectors and renowned speakers national and international, who will be sharing experiences, exchanging knowledge and generating business. In addition, the event will bring together exhibitors and visitors in an exhibition venue considered to be one of the best in Brazil.
“I believe that this is a great opportunity for member companies that offer security to enter their solutions in the Defense segment”, assesses Roberto Gallo, CEO of Kryptus Information Security and coordinator of the Security and Cyber Risks Committee at ABES.
