Committed to ensuring the increase in conversion combined with total security for its customers, Braspag, a company in the Cielo group and one of the leading companies in payment solutions for e-commerce in Latin America, expands its service offering by integrating parts of the UP eCommerce Payments solution, ReD Shield and ReDi, to its anti-fraud portfolio.

Developed by ACI Worldwide, ACI ReD Shield and ACI ReDi bring new benefits to Antifraud Braspag, making it a conduit for multiple fraud prevention offerings. Together with Cybersource, this integration guarantees more flexibility and new possibilities for the company's customers.

“Partnering with ACI allows customers to choose the best anti-fraud solution for their store. It's up to us to be the intelligence engine for using multiple vendors in a transparent and cohesive way. This ensures that Braspag goes far beyond being a payment gateway. Now we are offering more robust anti-fraud services, which guarantees greater plurality in the services we provide”, says Gastão Mattos, CEO of Braspag.

Consumers interact with brands through different channels, each with multiple forms of payment. This diversity, added to the demand for increasingly responsive services, increases exposure to fraud. “The usual approach to handling fraud at the checkout of e-commerce in Latin America causes sales to be improperly rejected or requires extended verification periods. A buyer wants their order approved on the spot, but often pays the price of conservative, manual fraud management processes, which create a poor shopping experience in many situations. ACI ReD Shield and ACI ReDi address these issues with intelligence and automation,” said Marco Bravo, President of ACI Worldwide for Latin America.

According to Mattos, Braspag's focus on the shopping experience offered to customers boosted the closing of the partnership with ACI. “Through Braspag, any and all establishments will have at their disposal the very latest in terms of secure sales management, including online check-out monitors, which improves e-commerce management”, he adds. . With the partnership, Braspag customers will have the opportunity to offer similar consumption experiences for small and large establishments.

“Large retailers have the margin to support manual processes that are more costly, however, smaller ones cannot afford this. The Braspag solution, together with the ACI offer, offers access to this technology to small businesses that will be able to have more assertiveness in the automatic prevention of fraud – as a result, they will be able to be more competitive”, concludes Bravo.
