Application allows the reservation of job positions through the company's plant and shows the occupation of the environment, thus ensuring proper spacing and avoiding crowding
Thinking about the gradual resumption of face-to-face activities in companies throughout Brazil, Brasoftware, one of the main technology providers in the Brazilian market, and KeepTrue, an Information Technology company specializing in integrated solutions in the cloud to optimize processes, reduce costs and increase productivity, they have just launched Seat Free, a physical space management application that allows, among other things, to create a map of the use of the environment and guide employees, avoiding crowds and physical proximity.
According to the companies, Seat Free is an application that can be accessed via the Web, via Microsoft Teams and via Android or iOS smartphone that works together with a series of IoT sensors and controllers that are permanently connected on the companies' premises. In this way, information is collected on the presence or absence of employees at their desks or meeting rooms, in real time, allowing organizations to have a complete view of the use of these spaces.
With this technology, employees can search for work stations and meeting rooms available at the desired time, before moving to the physical office, avoiding crowding and disagreements that could increase the risk of contact. It also allows managers to know which employees are in the company and which are in the home office.
The tool also allows employees to check-in and check-out of the reservation, with the use of sensors being optional. With this, it is also possible to lower the cost of initial installation for companies, leaving the installation of sensors for a second moment.

In addition, it is a fully customizable solution, allowing the creation of other processes based on business rules, such as a view of activities with management of working hours, insertion of local plants, occupation times and permissions, adapting the use of the tool to the company's needs", comments Rafael Vieira, CTO of KeepTrue.
Another differential is the collection of data that go beyond geolocation. In addition to producing reports on the frequency of space usage, it is capable of compiling financial information, which allows the company to link expenses to the correct cost centers, optimizing the budget for each area. There is also the activity management function, which makes it possible to map the time dedicated to each task, helping the manager to assess the performance and evolution of activities, indicators that are more and more necessary in home office times.
