Booz Allen Hamilton, which provides technology and engineering management and consulting services to governments in the civil and defense and intelligence markets, global corporations and not-for-profit organizations, and Trend Micro, a global security software company, announced a strategic partnership to provide customers with a rich – and on-demand – view of data about cybersecurity environments.

The integrated team will provide customers with:

• World-class consulting and technology practices to help commercial and federal organizations understand the attacks that occur, their motivations, and how to react, analyze, and mediate breaches;

• Best practices in defending against threats that use advanced methods, through a proactive APT search;

• Integration of cyber intelligence tradecrafts to extract maximum value from the latest cyber capabilities to the most advanced capabilities.

"Whether you're a director of global security operations (CISO) at a financial institution or a federal forward-planning leader, your need for greater intelligence and tradecraft is growing. As cyber leaders become more connected, the privacy and security expectations of their customers also increase," said Brad Medairy, Senior Vice President at Booz Allen and Business Leader for Predictive Intelligence in the Strategic Innovation Group.

"Today's cyber adversaries are more sophisticated and aggressive than ever before," said Tom Kellermann, Cyber Security Manager at Trend Micro. "This new reality requires collaboration among leading industry leaders to prevent the onslaught of threats ranging from intellectual property to sensitive personal information. By aligning with Booz Allen, Trend Micro can provide more than 25 years of experience to help decision makers better understand their vulnerabilities and what steps they need to take to protect against current and future threats. We look forward to working with the exceptional team at Booz Allen, sharing our innovations and expertise to get ahead of the rapid evolution of the threat landscape," he added.
