The measure, known in the market as standstill, is being granted for a period of up to six months to more than 28.5 thousand companies, in approximately 77,700 financing contracts, in the direct and indirect modalities. It is estimated that customers benefiting from the measure employ more than 2.5 million people.

The Southeast region received 39.9% of the benefit to companies that contracted directly with the bank, while the North was the most benefited in indirect non-automatic contracts, with 61.3% of the standstill values approved for this modality in this region.

BNDES informed that it is still receiving requests for suspension of payments in the automatic indirect modality. Requests must be sent to the financial agent that granted the financing.
