Interested parties have until May 31 to submit digital projects applied to health

The Bayer Grants4Apps 2017 program is now live. In its 5th Edition, Bayer's initiative will select, globally, up to five startups to accelerate the development of innovative solutions, with a subsidy of 50 thousand euros, coaching and stay at the company's office in Berlin. O acceleration program seeks digital solutions in the health area aimed at helping professionals or patients, as well as products dedicated to the prevention or diagnosis of diseases or that help to improve processes throughout the pharmaceutical value chain.

“Bayer believes in the strength and importance of collaboration to foster and accelerate the innovation process. Through the program, we seek solutions that provide improvements in the health area and this can be, once again, a great opportunity for many Brazilian digital entrepreneurs”, says Camila Navarro, IT Digital and Innovation Manager at Bayer Brasil.

Those interested can submit their projects until May 31st. The main challenges of this edition are related to areas such as clinical trials, data analysis, nephrology, women's health and pulmonology. The program, however, is also open to other initiatives related to the universe of health. The authors of the selected ideas will be mentored at the Bayer Berlin facility from September to November 2017.
For startups or mature companies, with already established solutions, Bayer's novelty this year is the program dealmaker. Through it, we seek ready-made solutions for the market, focused on solving the company's specific business challenges. In this category, entries can be made until June 30. Those selected travel to Berlin, all expenses paid, to present the details of their solutions and work on signing a letter of intent for a possible collaboration agreement in mid-September or October 2017.
