Company will invest 50 thousand euros in five innovative ideas

Until May 31, registrations are open for the Grants4Apps program, an initiative of the Bayer Group, a German multinational operating in the segments of Health, Agricultural Sciences and Innovative Materials, which will select five digital projects aimed at the health area. To participate, interested parties must complete the form on the website www.grants4apps.com.

Bayer will provide € 50,000 in financial support to startups, developers, students or freelancers from around the world to put into practice digital ideas and projects that contribute to improvements in pharmaceutical processes and in the health area in general.

“Bayer works daily for innovation in the healthcare field. In the past 152 years, the company has demonstrated its capacity for innovation. Today, the goal is to combine our expertise with the ideas of other experts, which we believe is the key to innovation and success ”, says Theo van der Loo, president of the Bayer Group in Brazil.

Grants4Apps complements the "Grants4Apps Accelerator” program, a new collaborative initiative by Bayer HealthCare, focusing on the field of digital health. The Accelerator offers space for five digital startups at the Bayer HealthCare facilities in Berlin for 100 days. Bayer offers companies personalized guidance from company leaders.

The companies also receive intensive advice from Bayer's internal and external experts and access to a wide range of professional contacts.
