Brazilian company wants to increase export earnings by 50%
 
Audaces, leader in Brazil and Latin America in the fashion technology segment, has been participating in events to increase international sales.  “In order to reach our goal of growing 50% in international sales revenue, we intend to highlight the productivity gain that our innovations generate for all points of the production chain in the industry”, announces the director of international sales at Audaces, Paulo Pereira, who gave an interview to the ABES Portal.
 
 
When did the company start its internationalization process?
The internationalization process of Audaces started with the participation in fairs in Latin America, more than 15 years ago. In addition to presenting the products, Audaces aimed to find local distributors who were interested in building partnerships. The first international fair that the company participated was in 1996 in Argentina. It was also in this country that it won its distributor for international sale. Audaces products and services are currently available in more than 70 countries. In America, Europe, Africa and Asia, the company has more than 20 distributors and three international units located in Peru, Argentina and Colombia, serving from small companies, such as modelers, stylists and service providers, to medium and large brands.
 
What were the main challenges that the company faced in this internationalization process and what did it learn?
Audaces' mission is to promote the success of Fashion, offering products with innovative technology and reliable services that generate value and growth for the flexible materials industry, clothing designer, model maker, stylist, student, educational institutions and service provider in the fashion market , guaranteeing your satisfaction. Audaces' main communication strategy was active participation in national and international fairs, with the aim of strengthening the brand, prospecting new customers and increasing the brand value and participation in international markets.
 
What are the main international markets for Audaces?
The target market chosen by Audaces as a proposal for 2015 is the European market, including some Asian countries such as Turkey, Bangladesh and India. Europe has an excellent geographical position, between Asia and Africa and thus becomes a strategic point for trade. In addition, the textile manufacturing industry is very strong. In Italy, Milan stands out together with Paris as the fashion capitals of the world, becoming a reference of trends for the world.
