Atos, international information technology services company, official integrator of the Olympic Games for over 20 years, presented to the market at Futurecom 2014 the advantages of integration with Bull, a company recently acquired in Europe for 628 million euros. Scheduled to start globally from January 1, 2015, the integration of Atos e Bull is being led by Latin America and started on October 1 of this year.
 
"The acquisition of Bull represents a key milestone in Atos' strategy to become, by 2016, a leader in digital services on a global scale in the new Business Technology industry through sustainable growth in all regions where the company operates" , says Alexandre Gouvêa, Chief Executive Officer of Atos for Latin America.
 
In addition to Brazil, the purchase of Bull will strengthen Atos' operations in other strategic markets in Latin America, such as Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico. With a projected turnover of R$ 600 million for 2015 from operations in the region alone and a global customer base, Atos provides IT services in the areas of Consulting & Systems Integration and Managed Services. The company, which operates in 42 countries, has extensive technology expertise and deep industry knowledge, serving companies in the following markets: manufacturing, retail, transportation, public sector, healthcare, financial services; telecommunications, media and utilities.
          
Altogether, there are 3200 employees in Latin America who will work in a wide customer base, with complementary areas and the possibility of strategic growth in the financial, public and manufacturing sectors. "With the acquisition of Bull, Atos expands its experience in the development of technology solutions, based on in-depth knowledge of our customers' business, in addition to complete solutions in Cloud, Big Data and Cyber Security", says Alberto Araújo, who , after 35 years with Bull, the last 14 years as leader of Bull's operations in Latin America, with the integration of the companies assumed the position of Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Atos for Latin America.
