The 100 best Brazilian open startups for investment

 

The “100 Open Startups” movement, which has the support of ABES, discloses the final list of the 100 most innovative and good Brazilian startups for investment in the opinion of those operating in the market. They were selected from a process that had five phases and lasted a total of one year.
 
The startups that aroused the most interest or signed a contract with the large companies participating in the project – such as Grupo Fleury, 3M, Abbott, Natura, Bradesco, IBM, J&J, Estácio and others, were classified. To give you an idea, almost a thousand startups from 23 states signed up for the movement.
 
Each startup received points according to their achievements throughout the process, which had five stages. At the top of the ranking are the startups that most aroused the interest of large companies and those that managed to close contracts.
 
The interest in the startup expressed by a company in the movement, for example, is worth one point. On the other hand, service contracts and/or established pilots are worth ten points (or 20 points, if the contract involves equity interest). To give you an idea, in the top 10, startups received an average of 100 points each.
 
“The vibrancy of entrepreneurs helps executives overcome the discouragement caused by the current economic crisis, which is a very important step”, says Bruno Rondani, investor and mentor of the movement.
 
The movement achieved in total:
 
· 30 reviews were the average received by each startup participating in the movement throughout the process
· 75 large companies connected to the movement
· 25 investment funds or angel investor networks participated in the evaluations
· 53 contracts have already been signed between companies and startups since the conclusion of the previous cycle
· 30 startups raised investments within 2 months of the end of the previous cycle
· 692 partnerships are under negotiation
