On June 15, the Federal Court of Auditors launched the #EuFiscalizo mobile application, available for smartphones and tablets. With it, citizens will be able to send their manifestation to the TCU in real time, wherever they are, and thus contribute to the inspection of public resources from the Union.

Collaborating with the inspection of public resources, through this application, is quite simple. After downloading the application from the page www.tcu.gov.br/app or through the App Store or Google Play stores, citizens can register, log in anonymously or authenticate through Facebook to access the features.

When accessing the option “Stand up and do your part”, citizens will be able to select a category, write a title and their message, as well as add evidence through georeferenced photos and PDF files. After sending, you will follow the progress of your message in “My manifestations”, and may even add more evidence and information.

According to the President of the Court, Minister Aroldo Cedraz, the application ensures an even closer contact between the TCU and the citizen, narrows communication opportunities and innovates in order to offer more modern means and instruments of interactivity. “With the #EuFiscalizo app, citizens exercise social control in practice and can do so in a very practical and comfortable way, just by having a smartphone or tablet in their hands with the app installed”, reinforces Cedraz.

The possibility of sending a message from the citizen to the TCU is not the only functionality that the #EuFiscalizo mobile application offers. It is possible to access videos on inspections that have already been carried out, ask frequent questions about the performance of the TCU and view an interactive map that allows locating the nearest TCU unit. There is also the option of accessing information separated by categories. “The idea is for the application to provide citizens with even more information and means for them to collaborate with the inspection of public resources”, assures the president of the TCU.
