During the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, many negotiations will be underway with the objective of promoting the exports of Brazilian companies that develop software solutions and IT services in the hospitality centers that the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – Apex-Brasil installed in the arenas.

At the invitation of the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (Softex), 14 potential customers from Argentina, Canada, Colombia, the United States, France, Indonesia, Japan, Mozambique and Portugal will be in Brazil to follow these games and participate in a series technical visits and business meetings with more than 35 national companies interested in taking their automation, embedded software, management and mining solutions to these nine markets.

“Brazil must use the strengths of its culture to help in doing business. This FIFA Confederations Cup project explores the joy, diversity and creativity, striking and contagious traits of the Brazilian people. The initiative's proposal is to create ties with potential international partners to generate commercial opportunities for our companies”, analyzes Gláucia Chiliatto, Softex's international executive manager.

Since 2005, Softex has developed, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, an export promotion project with the objective of generating business in the international market for the participating Brazilian companies, increasing the volume of exports in the sector, increasing exposure and strengthening the image of Brazilian IT industry – identified abroad by the Brasil IT+ brand -, in order to make Brazil a center of excellence in the sector recognized worldwide.

For the elaboration of the agenda of meetings and technical visits of the 14 international guests, Softex had the support of its Regional Agents Tecsoft (Brasilia), Fumsoft (Belo Horizonte), RioSoft (Rio de Janeiro) and Insoft (Fortaleza).

“The immersion of foreign guests in a component deeply rooted in our culture and famous around the world, such as football, allows for the establishment of bonds with the executives of the participating Brazilian companies. This scenario favors the creation of a strategic differential capable of generating the ideal conditions for the realization of solid partnerships between Brazil, which currently occupies the 5th position in the world market of Information Technology, and the executives of organizations from ten countries invited to this important action”, concludes Gláucia Chiliatto.
