Entities will promote training on angel investment

The National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec) and Anjos do Brasil signed a cooperation agreement with the objective of promoting actions to promote and capitalize new companies, in addition to bringing them closer to seed capital funds. For this, the entities will carry out training on angel investment for entrepreneurs and will work on bringing together investors and innovative ventures linked to technology parks and incubators.

“The partnership between Anjos do Brasil and Anprotec unites two fundamental links for the development of innovation in Brazil: the technology parks and business incubators, where this innovation is generated, to the entrepreneurial capital that takes them to the market”, explained the president of Anjos do Brasil, Cassio Spin. “With this partnership, we will join efforts to strengthen relationships and bring investors closer to innovative businesses that are supported by technology parks and incubators across the country,” said Francilene Procópio Garcia, president of Anprotec.

The two entities will also define the operationalization of the projects that will be developed in partnership and also the schedule of these actions, which involve training on angel investment for entrepreneurs, increasing investment in innovative ventures and bringing investors closer to projects developed in parks and incubators.

Currently, Brazil has 400 business incubators and around 90 technology park initiatives. Anprotec brings together around 300 members, including business incubators, technology parks, teaching and research institutions, public bodies and other entities linked to entrepreneurship and innovation. Anjos do Brasil, a non-profit organization that seeks to promote the culture of angel investment throughout Brazil, creates a relationship network with high potential for impact in financial and intellectual support.
