Conversational platform will be used for scheduling appointments and exams via WhatsApp

Scheduling an appointment or exam over the phone is not always a good experience for those in need. It takes time to talk to an attendant or employees who may not be well prepared, the headaches are diverse. Difficulties can also happen on the side of hospitals, medical centers and laboratories that offer the service. The most common are the high cost of maintaining a call center and the difficulty of finding specialized people.

Not to mention the registration of processes and often it is not possible to have the control and metrics necessary to improve the service. But the advancement of new technologies brought about by digital transformation is about to change this scenario. BL Applications is launching the first healthcare solution based on the AnnA conversational platform - developed by W5 Solutions.

The idea of the application was born out of requests from customers in the health area of BL Aplications and began to be realized as soon as Gouther Braga Leonel, the company's director, read an article about AnnA in the press. “We saw at AnnA the possibility of making the initiative a reality. We got in touch to find out more information and, in November last year, the conversation hub development project was initiated by W5 Solutions ”, he explains.

Appointment consultation

Instead of calling to make an appointment or exam just contact WhatsApp. Much more convenience for those who need it. The infinity of types of consultations and exams made the development of the solution complex since, in addition to the agenda, there is also a complete back-up environment. 

Another innovation of the service is that, in addition to reserving the date and time for the desired consultation or exam, it is also possible, if it is private, to make the payment. This is possible because AnnA is integrated with a means of payment platform.

“In addition to the convenience and speed for the customer when making the payment before arriving at the site, the number of people who book and cannot go will decrease, causing damage to the medical institution. If something makes it impossible, just reschedule on the platform, automatically releasing the time for someone else ”, says Leonel.

The platform is also capable of solving the bottleneck of the difficulty of measuring results. With AnnA, health managers are able to access the number of people served and how many were converted to care, in addition to other important information made available in customized reports. There are already 2 customers of BL Applications waiting to use AnnA. “We are very excited about the platform. Our future project is to extend the use of the platform to medical offices as well ”, concludes Leonel.
