Operated by Acceleratech project will offer six months of acceleration

Algar Telecom, the telecommunications company of the Algar group, has just launched the first Startup Acceleration Program. Operated by Aceleratech, recognized as the best accelerator in Latin America by Latam Founders, the program will have, in this first cycle, three selected startups and a 6-month acceleration program, which in addition to the accelerator's recognized methodology, includes several assistance services to leverage business and cash value.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating in the program can apply until March 18, exclusively through the Aceleratech website (www.aceleratech.com.br). For the selection, the topics of interest to Algar Telecom are: Internet of Things for smart homes, companies and cities; customer service and relationship platforms and ICT solutions for Micro and Small Enterprises.

According to Algar Telecom's strategy and regulatory director, Renato Paschoareli, the initiative aims to strengthen the company's operations with the Brazilian entrepreneurial ecosystem, by investing resources in startups that have synergy with Algar Telecom's businesses, bring innovative solutions and facilitate customers' lives. “We see great potential for innovation in the Brazilian market, and Algar Telecom wants to be active in this process. We intend to help startups in their growth, with the mentoring of the main executives of Algar Telecom and the specialists of Aceleratech”, said Paschoareli.

After choosing the startups, the acceleration process begins, which should last about six months and continues with the company's constant monitoring, even after acceleration. “Our main objective is to impact the country's economy with digital entrepreneurship. In the United States, multinationals are highly active in this ecosystem, and strongly responsible for its growth, now we want to bring this movement to Latin America,” says Pedro Waengertner, CEO of Aceleratech.
