AgroVen and CPQD recently signed a cooperation agreement to stimulate innovation and the development of digital technologies in agtechs, startups in the agribusiness sector. The two organizations will combine efforts to identify, select and evaluate promising agtechs that use disruptive digital technologies and that will be candidates for both AgroVen investments and CPQD's programs to promote innovation.

According to Silvio Passos, president of AgroVen, the association has specific processes and methodologies for the origination, selection and evaluation of startups, in addition to having strong connections with the digital agribusiness ecosystem and also with the strength of a group of investors formed by industry exponents. "Our intelligence tools and highly trained staff increase the speed and quality of selected startups, while mitigating the risks of the assessment process."

Fabricio Lira Figueiredo, the manager responsible for the topic Smart Agribusiness at CPQD, highlights the organization's long history of success in innovation initiatives, and the great technical and management capacity of technological development programs. “CPQD continually seeks to contribute to the digital transformation in Brazilian agribusiness, providing its skills, platforms, technologies, partnership networks and access to non-refundable resources for innovation, so we are confident that joint action with AgroVen will contribute to these objectives. with the sector's startups ”.
