Agfa HealthCare, the world leader in hospital imaging and information systems, closed a 5-year partnership with Prevent Senior, a health plan in Brazil that serves people aged 49 and over. As a result, hospitals and diagnostic centers in the Prevent Senior network will have the new Agfa HealthCare business model in place, called Managed Services.

The solution consists of Datacenter, communication links, servers, storage devices, diagnostic stations, accessories in general, RIS, PACS, implementation and support services. In this model, the storage and distribution services of diagnostic imaging files are outsourced, through payment per use, avoiding depreciation costs.

“Our objective is to provide the complete solution so that the client does not have to worry about technical matters, allowing him to modernize his processes, without immobilizing capital. The project is personalized and the remuneration depends on the number of exams performed”, explains Robson Miguel, IT Sales Manager at Agfa HealthCare.

The differential of the partnership is the fact that Agfa HealthCare fully assumes the management of the environment, including the hiring of an on-site professional to support all users of the systems. The systems used by the partnership (PACS, RIS and NIS) have voice recognition, integrated into a single workflow. The benefits of integration provide faster results and more consolidated information for each patient.
